Ten SMEs in Vadodara got together a year ago to tread on the path of competitiveness. They formed a cluster in July 2007 and successfully completed 12 months programme. Cluster companies have been benefited immensely and have reported a saving of Rs 1.6 Crores. These companies have been able to increase their Productivity by 55%, Floor Space Utilization by 34%, VAPCO by 49%, and ITR by 47%. They have also have reduced In process Rejection by 74% and Customer Complaints by 82%.
