Autonomous maintenance helps the operators on how to maintain their machines and equipment. It helps to restore back the basic condition of the machines along with the removal of the build in defects in the design of the machine.

Its basic purpose is to create awareness among the operators with ‘My Machine’ Concept. It helps to restore back the basic condition of the machines along with removal of various abnormalities associated with the machines.
It enables operators to understand and become more familiar with their machines. The workmen would develop a sense of ownership and will be able to identify and correct the various small abnormalities/irregularities in their machine to avoid breakdowns rather than correcting them. |
