Ten supplier companies of ABB Faridabad have reported astounding achievements after the successful closure of the CII-Cluster programme on 26th June 2007. At the closure all ten companies shared their success stories after undergoing a 12 months programme on adopting best manufacturing practices. The cluster accrued tremendous benefits and reported improvement in Inventory Turnover Ratio (76%), achieving delivery schedule up to 95%. This programme has helped companies to reduce accident frequency (77%), accident severity (57%) customer complaint and rejection by 57% and machine breakdown hours and frequency by 20%.
